Manu Temple is two kilometers away; it is in memory of sage Manu and located at what was formerly known as Manali (ancient Manali). Vashisth is three kilometers away and there are hot water springs there. There are mini temples dedicated to sage Vashisth and Lord Sri Ram. Monasteries are three in number and have been recently made Tibetan style. There is another place to travel which is Jagatsukh which six kms away; it was the capital of Kullu. It is here that the temples to Lord Shiva and Sandhya Gayatri are situated; just ahead of these temples are Arjuna caves.

Solang valley is situated 14 KMs away and is a ski as well as a picnic spot. Just moving towards the Rohtang pass (3978 m height) are Nehru Kund, Rahalla falls that are worth sightseeing there. You might visit the Club-house that has a roller skating rink, room for playing billiards, library, auditorium, bar and a restaurant that makes a wonderful delight to go out and travel. Cafe` Junipar is worth being there. This is not all about Manali, you just have to be there and feel the synergy from within!
